Shilpa Shetty Kundra is one woman who seems to be able to do it all! Whether it’s being a hands-on mother, wife and daughter or maintaining a super healthy lifestyle while juggling work commitments, there’s a lot that she gets done and makes it all seem so effortless.
But, at the crux of it, she also faces challenges that all mothers tend to when they raise more than one child. Shilpa, who is already a mother to 9-year-old Viaan Raj Kundra, just welcomed her and Raj Kundra‘s second child, Samisha Shetty Kundra, through surrogacy in March last year. Speaking about making sure she gives attention to her newborn and her older son, she says it was a challenge, for sure.
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Shilpa said:
I had a baby, I had my daughter Samisha and it gave me the time with both my kids. It was very hard because my son is nine and is doing virtual school, to be a hands-on parent and with a newborn not making him feel like he is ignored because he has always been an apple of our eyes so that was a little difficult but other than that, it was not so bad… I always believe in staying positive.
She also went on to add:
Yoga helped me, and honestly, it wasn’t so bad for me. It really gave me the much-needed time which I was craving. I am dabbling in a lot of spheres and a lot of other things.
Well, got to say, like so many mothers out there, she is also powering through like a boss!
On the work front, she is set to make a power-packed comeback on the silver-screen with Nikamma alongside Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia. She also has Hungama 2 alongside Meezaan Jaffery, Paresh Rawal and Pranita Subhash. In the interview, she also shared that she is set to recreate her iconic ‘Churake Dil Mera’ with Meezaan and I super excited for that!
