The Akshay Kumar action entertainer Bellbottom released a couple of days back in theatres in India. In the overseas territory of U.A.E the film released a day later owing to the censor issues. Initially reports surfaced that the film had been banned in the U.A.E market, however the local censor board approved of the film permitting its release.
Released across 65 screens in the U.A.E, Bellbottom has managed to draw in approx. 2,68,121 AED [Rs. 54.27 lakhs] on Day 2 [Saturday, 21st August]. While the film has hit screens in the U.A.E, Bellbottom has been banned within the rest of the G.C.C markets, a situation that will definitely affect the film’s overall box office collections. The two day total stands at approx. 584k AED
As of now, Bellbottom that has received positive reviews from critics is expected to show good growth in business over the weekend.
