Casual-glam OOTDs aren’t new. Over the last year or so, this sartorial combo has been a rather favourite one. And now with summer here and a little too harsh at that, chances are this duo is going to keep getting famous. Bollywood celebrities, it seems, have already reworked their wardrobe to make it more heat-friendly with a few still not completely over sweat sets. Enter Mithila Palkar‘s latest airport look. But then again, it can still be acceptable air-wear even in summers, thanks to the air-conditioning. But otherwise, tropical, floral-printed shorts-suit, elegant chikankari kurtas and the good old denim shorts + white shirt combos are a popular choice at present.
This week, we spotted a few celebrities out and about in the city in their casual best. If you’re looking for some outfit inspiration for the weekend, for lounging at home or quick brunches or for intimate get together with your BFFs, here’s the gallery to refer to. Keep scrolling!
Spotted after a work meeting, Alia went for the classics: a white shirt and denim shorts. The frayed hemline upped the stylishness of the look while the neutral, heeled flip-flops, a pink and white Dior tote bag and gold hoops served as the perfect and pretty finishing touches.
When it comes to wardrobe basics, best to always cue in Karisma because she knows her way around them way too good! How to ace light layering for summer, you ask? Take one of her recent looks as the perfect example. The actor picked a basic white tee and mom-fit jeans and elevated the look with a grey vest making it one helluva stylish street-style look. The white sneakers and the black sunglasses only added to the goodness of the look.
Shraddha is quite fuss-free and versatile with her off-duty choices. While making her way out of Tori, the actor was seen wearing a vibrant blue, floral-printed co-ord set. A shirt with statement sleeves paired with bermuda shorts. A white sports bra underneath served as the perfect base for the look. Doesn’t her look make you want to pack your bags and head to a beach?
While Mithila Palkar’s look isn’t really recommended, if you live in chilly regions, you’re allowed to borrow inspiration. The actor was spotted at the airport in a mint green cropped sweatshirt + flared sweat pants look. The best part about her outfit though was the definition of “mood” on her sweatshirt which sums up how sweat sets have been a mood for as long as we can remember now!
Sunny Leone was spotted twice, both times at the airport. For her flight out of Bombay, Sunny went for a rather stylish and formal look. Her pick: a white, button-up, midi dress with a crisp collar and full sleeves. The dress featured fun light blue panels on one of the sleeves and one end of the hemline. To make the outfit quirkier, a light blue rope-like belt was used to cinch the dress which also featured floral patchwork. White sneakers with a star print rounded off her look.
For her flight back to Bombay, Sunny wore a balmy, white, wrap-around blouse and teamed it with a pair of bright red cigarette pants. White espadrilles tied her brunch-worthy look together just perfectly.
Traditional chikankari kurtas have always been Nimrat’s favourite. The actor is spotted in one quite often. Around this time as she was seen flying out of the city, she picked a light pink number with white chikankari work and paired it with a pair of white palazzos that featured a lace hemline. A white facemask with a 3D texture completed her fuss-free airport look.
If you’ve got date plans this weekend, make sure to take a cue from Tamannaah’s look. The actor was photographed in a cute outfit. Her picks were a cropped, front-knot shirt with a laser-cut polka texture, and a blue and white, striped, paper bag skort with white lacework. Silver hoops and layered necklaces with white and blue sneakers rounded off her look.
